Fabulous color detail and depth. The image looks 3d. I wish for more of an angle to the composition... but well captured.

Thanks RK, I have been trying various settings with the new camera and will see what I can do with using the manual setting more often. I don't mind working a little harder to get the best results.

Brent... to further refine my comments...what I like about this picture is the bottom half...the glow of the recessed/hidden lights.
Glad you like the 30D...like your analogy "it is like putting on eyeglasses for the first time with being able to clearly see what the lens is seeing for a change.".
See that you are shooting in shutter priority mode... would encourage you to shift to manual mode...in my opinion...gives total control of camera and the light.

Regards
RK

Thanks for your comments Cat and RK. See below for a perspective of where the doors are Cat. The entrance appears to be hand painted -very surreal to look at in person.
I'm loving the 30D for the few days I've had it RK, and can't wait to master it more. Coming from a G6 it is like putting on eyeglasses for the first time with being able to clearly see what the lens is seeing for a change.

Very ornate ceiling. Is it wall paper or paint? BTW where is the door? -Cat
