Cat, you did a great job. Each one of these pics can stand alone and they look so great together. Wonderful series. The first one in the series is my overall fave of the four. It would look great blownup.

Indeed comments were made a while ago. First I recognized Cat's series then saw my name and thought my account was hijacked!!!

Nice series! It would have worked for challenge #56 very well.

I have to disagree about nature being chaotic. All IMHO, of course. That would mean that chaos generate order since as plants grow they subsist via very organized and known methods such as carbon dioxide production, nutrients extraction from the ground. Same thing for animals and Man. Very complex machines indeed but an assembly of well organised body part that keep us alive for decades.

I still enjoyed the photos. :-)
Cancer tumors on the other hand are an exemple of chaos.

Wonderful, Ms. Cat. Each image alone is a nice piece of photography, but taken together they are superb. The diagonal breaks the pattern and adds interest. Great concept and execution. --Mr. Biscuit

oo I love the pinecone shot! and this is interesting because you have three symmetrical/top-view images arranged with a somewhat out of place image (bottom right). and yet, i think it works because of the "chaotic" theme.
