Very strong visually and I've liked it since it was first posted. While I don't have the cycling background to catch it all without explanation, it still makes a strong statement on its own. Nicely done. -Michael

REALLY cool!! Excellent eye catching image. A product shot if I ever saw one too!

As an avid cyclist myself (although stunted by winter weather and snow at the moment) I am fascinated by this photo. I think it's a very powerful message - one that really conveys the meaning behind the LiveStrong campaign. I wear one of those, too, as does my husband (also a cyclist).

PS - the lines DO look like spokes -- what a neat touch!

Fabulous colours, great shot, very well conceived and conceptualised. Can see it as an advert in some magazine or as a poster. Vikas.

The background comment in the forum certainly does explain this image well. It is a great image although, without the extra info I had no idea what it was about. I think any technical shortcomings are outweighed by the strength of the image. Well done.

Wow, thanks guys! I honestly wasn't sure about posting this one. I liked the idea I'd come up with, and was fairly pleased with the end product (apart from the sharpness) but still wasn't sure it was doing the right thing. Got plenty of questions and advice to ask, but to keep these messages relevant, I'll head back to the forum. Thanks again! ~Hwulex

I like it, but - dare I say - it's too contrived.
However, that criticism could be levelled at a lot of challenge pictures, especially this challenge where the colours have to fit together. But I can't help thinking that there's no reason to wear that band outside the glove except for the picture.
If, on the other hand, the band had been pink, and the wall pink also, then it would have been great - but I think the pink bands have a different logo/slogan so wouldn't work as well with the clenched fist.
Or maybe I'm just thinking too much!
(Like I said, I do like it, honest!)

Strong. Well conceived, well composed. A bit more sharpness on the glove/bracelet and some clean-up on the background (noise, anomalous texture on the center-right third) could make this a winner. More contrast on the shadowed portions of the glove (say, USM 20/100/0) could give it more drama. But: Strong. --Mr. Biscuit
