Thanks, everyone, for your comments! Traveller, here is what Vikas says about minimalism in his introduction:
* Minimalism is a form of art in which objects are stripped down to their elemental, geometric form, and presented in an impersonal manner.
* Minimalism is a world where "less is more".
* Minimalism strives to reduce reality to the "least/barest" essential elements.
* A minimalist image is very "simple" and "uncluttered" to the eye.
* Minimalism is the use of the fewest and barest essentials or elements.
As a figure study this is pretty minimal, simple, uncluttered, elemental, geometric and even a bit impersonal. The only thing it isn't is reduced to its "barest" elements ! Lol, the shirt stays on. Your reaction to it leads me to believe that "less is more." I believe it to be minimal, what do you think? ~Sharon
