This shot has very little processing. If I recall correctly, it was just slight levels, resizing, and sharpening. What's pictured is a plastic tumbler whose base has colored LEDs in it. Milk was added to the tumbler originally in order to be illuminated by the lights. However, the milk wound up being more opaque than anticipated, so its function wound up being primarily to block the direct view of the lights. The rest is just refraction and internal reflection of the plastic. My daughter since put the tumbler in the dishwasher, which, unfortunately, ruined the electronics. -- Victor
