Now that you mention it, I should have recognized your name! Nice to get reacquainted with you. Congrats on your book with Tor, it must be wonderful to go from editor to writer! I am still friends with Elizabeth and Pam and I see George every once in awhile. I enjoyed your galleries very much and can see that you do indeed enjoy photography. Here is a link to my galleries:http://www.pbase.com/elips I just started doing this in June so I don't have as many galleries as you do. ~Sharon
Sharon: Ahh, we have met before, quite a few years ago. I used to be editor in chief of Book Creations Inc and worked there about 12 years. I'm still doing some writing and have a novel coming out next year from Tor. I prefer photography, however, and have my photos athttp://www.pbase.com/paulblock. I see you have a gallery here, which I'll check out later today.
Hi, Paul! I run the Librarium, the secondhand bookstore, in East Chatham. If you are in the area feel free to stop in and say hi. It would be fun to meet you in person! ~Sharon
Sharon: I live over in Delmar, just south of Albany. But I used to live in Malden Bridge, next to Old Chatham, and worked for about 12 years in Canaan, so I know Chatham well. And Jones Beach is pretty close to where I grew up and went to high school: Glen Cove on Long Island.
Great colors on this old truck! You caught it well. I am sorry I stuck my shot in between your two. It's ironic because even though my shot is of Jones Beach I actually live between the locations of your two shots in the Chatham NY area. You must live right around here somewhere as well. Good work! ~Sharon
