Eggsperiment

2 small slave flash units on both sides were triggered by the on-camera flash. Camera was on a tripod, set the timer, cracked the egg, centered myself, bended my knees to position, and drop. Got this on the 4th egg.

Thanks for the feedback folks. Selective coloring was chosen for this photo to simplify the image, to downplay the negative space and to make the egg drop stand out. While the original version could have stood up on its own merit, I deemed the negative space was competing with the subject; hence, I opted for this version. Thanks again for your input. I like the shot but not the combo of BW & color. I think it should be one or the other. I just keep looking at it and instead of thinking about how nice it is, all I can think is "why?". ~ Lonnit
