This was an 'opportunistic' shot taken taken in a crowded driveway on the coast of Maine while photographing a sunset. I turned around and saw the shadows and decided to try to frame the shot as best I could. I had to crop this some to remove other distracting elements, but had no angle to remove the white boards running down the center. I suppose controlled 'studio' version of a similar shot would yield better technical results, but this one was fun to discover and shoot.

I like that this is a couple - male and female. When I put on my critical glasses (*), I think this shot was a bit of a snapshot. The vertical line in the garage doors is kind of distracting and I would have liked to see the whole front wheel of the male bike as well. I can see how this photo might mean a lot to you though. Looks like you and the missus (as Adam-T would put it) bring your bikes on your outings. Kind of tells a nice little story that way. Not bad! --Olaf
