This coyote was like someone's pet dog.
This was taken in Glacier NP. We, a car load of us, followed it down the road for a mile.
We'd jump out of the car, take a few shots, jump back in to get ahead of it again.
At one point, it was inside the min. focal distance of my Canon 400 f4.6 lens. (3.5 meters)
It's a good thing I'm (we) are lucky. If it would have bitten any of us, we would have deserved it. davev.
Believe me, this is one of my favorites....a very difficult capture, well done! What happened when the noisy shutter clicked on your D30? Panic and a dash on the part of the Coyote?
Or, being the smart animal that it is, did it just laugh at you?
