Thanks again for your comments. Megapixels do help, but I agree that there are other technological factors like dynamic range which are more important. - Paul

I think this shot supports the notion that pixel counts are not the important aspect of digital photography.

This is crisp, adequately detailed, very 'natural' looking colour and good dynamic range.

Couple these features with a well framed shot and you have a great photograph like this.

I do like this as well as your "Lone Tree" image very much, Paul, and find them especially attractive as both show absolutely classical compositions for wide-angle landscape photography. Well done, indeed! -- db.
