What a wonderful shot! When I was there in Sept. of 2008 Mirror Lake was completely dry. You can only get there by walking since cars are banned from the road that leads to the lake. I was well on my way to see Mirror Lake when I began to wonder if there would be enough water in the lake to make the hike worthwhile. I decided to ask some people coming back from the lake if there was any water there since the drought was so bad. They told me it was dry. So, I turned around and went back to my campsite. It's nice to see that by Mar. of 2009 the lake once again has water in it! -dtallakson

Larry, it is hard to image a more perfect reflection. Awesome. At first I thought its got to be photoshop, but I realised I was mistaken. Nothing I would wish to change. I'd be printing it large and have it on display for the whole world to see! Compliments and regards Nico
