Amazing that you collect violins but don't play.. but who am I to say since only my inlaws are musicians and the violin in the image has the appearance of an old and very mellow, even expensive instrument. As to the score, I'll have to ask my wife or mother-in-law, but I think it could be a piano score with the two staves, one trebel and one bass. -tv

Thanks Julie, Sharon and TV.

TV, the joke is on, well I guess, it's on us. I went and looked. Understand that I am a music illiterate. It is indeed 6/8 tempo, I think. It is also piano music, Bela Bartok to be specific. I don't know if I have any violin music in the house. I own four or five or six violins, none of them playable and if they were I can't play anyway. I don't think violin music should have a bass clef but there's one there. That is a bass clef isn't it?

Let me see, in the house there are my collection of unplayable violins, a piano and an oboe. The only thing I can play is my iPod and iTunes! I have a no sense of timing.

Nicely done, but where's the time signature? It could be 6/8 after all... -tv
