a most interesting group of abandoned settlements above the loch of that name. From Glenuig water hut, follow recent (2010) pipeline excavation upto the Loch; cross loch outfall and continue to village on 2 levels & look out for small circular 'outhuts'. Take upward shelf above these to Glenuig hill, a series of rock outcrops and work back along ridge interupted by successive boggy cols till Glenuig village can be seen; drop down gulley just below water tanks. If you do it the other way round, Glenuig Hill is the 273rd outcrop
