Forgotten

The areas that flooded during Katrina are still not up to speed. The 2 images I used were taken shortly after Katrina - the water is from YESTERDAY from my front porch - the rainwater comes up over the front steps almost every day - and other places have a drought - crazy!

Love this, Laurie. It tells a powerful story, yet the imagery and colors have delicate feel and I like the contrast. ~Meg

Good one Laurie. I don't think the memory of all that water will ever go away. Love the "for sale" sign. It really fits.--skunk

A great combo--I really like the feeling of distance and unending distress. Using that "frame" is a real challenge--I've been struggling with it for a while.
