I like everything about this except the positioning of the young man - Maybe closer in and anchored to the walkway somehow - with a slight shadow or with some of the "foliage" coming up over his feet a little.

I wonder how it would look if the figure was slightly behind the seed pod, as though he was coming upon it unaware, only to be captured? If not that, how about moving him a bit farther into the picture ala the rule of thirds (AKA the golden mean)?
