They turned out to be an ideal PAD subject.

I was determined not to try anything too ambitious on Friday 13th.

Nice macro. Gorgeous detail. For Friday 13th I threw caution to the wind and drove to Sydney on the motorway. Incredibly I am still in one piece .... well ... a couple of pieces ... but there is always that strong bottle of glue in the garage. :o)
