When life throws you lemons (or goldfinches),
make lemonade.

When I saw this pair of goldfinches out on the liatris I grabbed the camera, forgetting that I had turned the resolution down on the camera yesterday.
As a result, I wasn't able to zoom in much and crop to get a closer view later, and the images are very small and a bit blurry.
(Funny how this "blurry Monday" theme seems to continue -- with no special intention or effort from me.)

Today's picture is the original shot, but I decided to try throw a couple of effects on it to disguise its flaws:
