Dan: Thank you for your feedback. I agree, using a telephoto to draw more attention to the distant arches would be nice. However, any more of a telephoto view (or wide angle view) would have made the composition unable to show all series of arches clearly. My particular purpose was to emphasize the vast number and variety of arches within such a short hall. I have another angle on this which does use a much longer focal length lens (from the other direction in a fog) at:http://www.pbase.com/compuminus/image/53327892
