Looks like they are waiting for somekind of uniform inspection:) The girl at the end looking down the hall looks like she is looking for the arrival of the ranking officer, in order to alert the others.
There seems a sense of waiting with impatience here. Interesting shot. All three shots have something, its a shame all those things couldn't come together in one shot. Thats how the cookie crumbles!
