Thanks for the kind words. You're right about the tension and animosity - you could almost cut it with a bread knife. To answer your question, I would probably have scored it for Lasprilla. But thats not how it goes. The rules were simple - two ten minute rounds, unless someone taps out or the fight is called off by the ref, it remains a draw. Fighters train and fight with this in mind, so it is not that fair to say that Laprilla got the better of him.

Thats why I felt bad for Tagle when they offered an extension of another 5-minute round. Of course the crowd booed and reacted when his camp refused. They only trained for two rounds, and he gave everything he had.

Its a bit like how a Formula One team budget their tires and fuel down to the last lap. You can't spring an extension of another 5 laps on them. `

this is an awesome shot! it practically captures the "animosity" between these two, and to a certain extent, the tension between the two schools...
i wanted to watch this fight but had some pesonal matters to attend to....based on their last fight in casino filipino i could imagin their fight...in your opinion who won the match? some say in the first it was tagle (if there was a point system)...will definitely watch the 3rd fight
great images!
