Here is a few sample I pulled off the D800E, original files was about 3 stop under exposed, and I used Capture NX2 to recover it, nothing fancy but a simple lift of a exposure, no NR no curve adjustment, . the two 100% crop is from the darkest area one from the trees on left and one from the right, i have hard time to trust my own eyes looking at those, talk about D.R. and shadow recovery capabilities of this new toy, i will grab a few with the 5D2 and upload here next week, been too busy shooting with the new toy, but do we really need to see the comparison? it's really depressive, ( for Canon fanboys), like myself, LOL.
