Gareno Lodge Ecuador

In the birds of Ecuador guide book they describe this bird as (very rare)
I feel very fortunate to have been able to photograph it even though
at only a 1/20 of a second. It's dark in the jungle.

Canon EOS 40D ,Canon EF 300mm f/2.8L IS USM
1/20s f/4.0 at 420.0mm iso400 full exif

Apparently the Gareno Lodge is the most reliable site for this bird. It's got some amazing colors and shape. Looks timid. I know it can perch for hours and is very approachable.
I would have felt as you, blessed indeed. Tx for sharing it with the world!
