Rain drenched rhododendrons

Red rhododendrons after the rain.
Poured rain yesterday and the the sun started to come out enough
to backlight them a bit. I find it difficult to expose for reds and
keep them from blowing out.

Me, too... reds are tough!! expert photographers know that and do a good job, just like this one of yours!!

Well, you sure nailed this one. Great exposure and wonderful deep reds. I've never seen rhodos that color before. Our native wild ones are pink.

You did an excellent job with the exposure.

I think these are exceptionally well done Cliff. Reds are saturated but not overly, same with the greens. Much more and they'd be over the top.

You did quite well Cliff.

So fresh!

Beautifully done. The color tones I think fit the mood of the rain.

Beautiful image, Cliff!

I like the raindrops! Cliff, most cameras can't capture red. My Fuji s7k certainly can't. It always bleed the reds too. Btw, this pic needs a boost. Too lazy to adjust some curves to it? :)

Very beautiful and nice title!!!

I realized that too, by the way, good exposure. Did you also use a tripod? 'cause I see 1/10 shutter speed.

I really like this shot Cliff. Love the juicyness of the rain covered petals. Great composure...well done :-D
