This photo comes from the Floyd-Wiseman photo album held by Marion Porteous, and sent to me by Millie King.

My Great Aunt, Sarah Wiseman married one Thomas Floyd, hence the link.

I have no idea who this person is, but seems to be the same person shown in Photo 1. It was made at Emberson's photographic studios in London. Both families came from Mile End and surrounding area.

If you can date the photo by the costume, please let me know!

I think I can narrow this down a little bit more. I would say late 1890's, like 1897-1900. The puffed sleeves (not too big), long jacket, and fitted blouse are all very Late Victorian. Though early 1890's (1891-1893) can look very similar.

Ray this is the early Edwardian style of 1890- 1910. It was known as " The Gibson Girl " style...blouses, skirts & jackets with leg of mutton sleeves. The light straw hat, ( men wore boaters ) Good luck with your searches.
