Today was one of those days when we had a steam train passing through Woking station. The weather was not great, but I had to be in town anyway, so here is ‘Black Five’ loco 45231 on its way from London-Waterloo to the beautiful cathedral city of Salisbury, about 80 miles to the west.
For those interested, details of main line steam runs for 2006 can be found HERE, and a few days before a given trip you can often find the times, and indeed see that the run has not been postponed or cancelled which is quite a regular occurrence!
