Attended the ‘rise’ festival in Camberwell today – a free festival organised by the city and supported by trade unions and many other sympathetic groups as a stand against racism. In light of the bombings, it took on a new theme this year, that of London United.

I sensed it would be a good photo opportunity, but I wanted to show some unity on this occasion too.

Here, the crowd go wild whilst watching Lemar. Suggs from Madness shared the stage with campaigning musician Billy Bragg and I’ve made a separate gallery of the event HERE
