Approaching the Mill

I returned to the location of yesterday’s PAD, but today the sun and clouds were more to my liking and captured the old mill at Coxes Lock in Addlestone. This sits on the Wey Navigation and was built as an iron mill in 1783, becoming a flour mill in 1829.

A few years ago, the mill was converted into apartments – very desirable!

Excellent B&W composition with good contrast. From the colour photo the mill certainly does look somewhere desirable to live.
