From a Distance

I was quite surprised to see this view today – it shows the skyline of central London as seen from 30 miles away. Notable structures include the London Eye, seen against the last of the tall buildings on the left; NatWest Tower which is dead centre just to the right of the sunlit block; and not far to its left, the Swiss Re building, commonly known as The Gherkin because of its unusual shape.

This was shot from Staples Lane, between Shere and West Horsley, near to Old Scotland Farm. Cool--it's like the L-R reflection of mine. :) Kind of strange looking to me-- not used to seeing it from this side...
