November 16 2004:
Fingerpost

It’s a good job I took this photo during the day, as when I met up with Linda and David tonight, I discovered that my batteries were flat. How naff is that?

We met up for a pub quiz and one of the questions was this. What is the connection between the answers to these four questions.
Who was the star of the Beverley Hills Cop
Who wrote ‘The Invisible Man’
What line precedes ‘Put a hundred down and buy a car. In a week, maybe two, they'll make you a star'
in the song “Do you know the way to San Jose”
Who was the first newsreader to read the ‘Nine O’clock News’? (I’ll give you that – it was Robert Dougal).

Answer later!

That is a hard one. Good job I could not make it to the quiz. Next time I will do some revision first. Nice photo though.

Well, I know the way to San Jose....Take the 101 South for about an hour. Exit right after the airport. Don't know the words to the song though!
