October 24 2004:
The Old School

I don’t know why I want to take a photo of my old school, as I didn’t really enjoy it that much! But as I get older, I realise that I need to know and document more of what my life was all about all those years ago.

I actually met up with a few classmates back in the summer, a reunion ironically organised by Wendy who lives in Australia! But the one thing was that everyone recognised me, despite the fact that I now wear glasses (except in SP mode); the only one to receive a 100% recognition rate. I really don’t know why that was, as I was one just to sit quietly in the corner with very few friends – I really did have a complex at the time. Of course, it may just be because I still retain my youthful good looks………

Photoshop:
Cropped and Resized
Partly desaturated
Framed using # FFFFFF

I don't know why you said "lame" -- I think it's a neat idea to take a photo of your old stomping grounds! Maybe sometime when I'm down in Illinois I'll go round to my old schools and shoot some of them!

It never fails to amaze me how small my old school now seems. When I was there it seemed huge. Bet you had the same sensation.

Reminds me somewhat of my old school. I went to the same school from K-12. 17 classmates (out of 91) took the whole journey with me. I NEVER wanted, and never did, attend a reunion!
