December 19 2003:
The Church Loft

West Wycombe, Buckinghamshire

Today I had to go on a mission to Buckinghamshire, an hours drive away from home. It was a real murky day but I had to travel through the village of West Wycombe, which is actually owned by the National Trust. Fortunately, they cannot forbid you from taking pictures in the village (unlike inside their properties)and so I can share with you this image of one of the numerous old buildings there, this one dating from the 15th century.

OMG, this brings back some memories. Many years ago, you could rent sleds to go sliding down the hill from a fellow at this place. Did you visit the caves?

great photo! I remember seeing similar structures when in UK (Surrey), none that look
quite this ancient. The tone you choose is perfect.

Happy new year!

Wonderful composition and finish to this. I wish we had more historic buildings where I live because this is really really neat.

This is a great shot Ray that really has that lovely "olde worlde" feel to it.

This is very fine capture, capped off with a perfect finish. Love your crop of this, as well. Excellent work!

Now this is a wonderful shot! The composition is perfect, the finish is not only very pretty, but it seems appropriate for these builings! Very nice shot!
