Dorset

It's good to see the heritage of a family business still showing in this Dorset market town.

Yes, Conyers were once motor engineers but these days the family sells items related to 'country pursuits'.

To the left, you'll see a small passageway, and out of view here is a blocked up door which a local artist has covered with attractive tiles. This was created by Vanessa Conyer, a descendant of the founder of the long-standing business. You can see her work here http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/articles/4nkB8v8m47hknmFjFgTWjyg/tile-your-town-for-hey-clay

I like seeing traditions continue...they are great looking stores. I looked at Vanessa Conyer link and it reminds me of an artist I was fortunate to meet in Northumberland...he has an exhibition on in Newbiggin-By-The-Sea at the moment.
His ceramics are beautiful. ( photos are in my Northumberland Gallery )
