Chinnor

Oxfordshire view map

For a few years now there has been a little steam railway running from Chinnor towards Princes Risborough a few miles to the east. The line last saw passengers in 1957 and freight in 1989. This scene includes an old carriage which acts as a cafe, and the station building, well the old one was apparently demolished so can only assume the one in view is a newish construction or perhaps one moved brick-by-brick from elsewhere!

Lovely station building and adding the flint and brick style has given it an age..

Oh, I'm sure there are a lot of rail-fans who would love to visit this. Nice work on the photo. V
