Our art group had a drawing session today, and it largely centred on drawing a number of small objects, of which this tube was one, with different graded pencils as well as a charcoal pencil.

But for one exercise, we were given sheets of paper already 'charcoaled' and then used an eraser to show up the light areas, and the background here is actually part of my depiction of the tube itself.
