The Holloway Brothers

Here are the Holloway Brothers performing in Guildford High Street. The first six images were taken in October 2003, the rest in September 2003.
After some while, I bumped into the band in Guildford in September 2005.

Just been introduced to the holloway bro's music by a mate... what can i say its great stuff, listenin to it now and feelin pretty good. (blues harp- awsome!)

Iv seen the holloway Brothers play in reading high street a few time but because i was in a rush i never got to stand watch, but i got the chance to a while back and the blew me away, they were so inventive an original. Iv seen alot of groups and bands in reading nut none if them compare the really were very good. I bought the album swerve and i think its still in my cd player now, its such a good album. Im gonna be buying the rest of there albums soon they are such an easy band to listen too, you dont have to be in any sort of mood just stick to cd in the player sit back and enjoy. Excellent!

It was about 2pm when we left home in St Margarets and got the train to Kingston. On the way from Kingston station to John Lewis we came across these guys playing in the street. It was cold, brrrrr! I couldn't believe what I heard. the Music was fantastic. I saw the CD's and I waited until they were done with the song. I bought Sugarbrain.
I am back from London now. We had dinner at Satsuma, in Soho, with my friends from Bilbao. They came to London just for the weekend.
"Mambo" is playing on my Linux box now. It was a nice day. Very nice indeed. The music has made it perfect.

Saw and heard them in Cambridge today, 19th of November, and were impressed. Definitely worthy of support. Had to buy a CD. So got 'Swerve'. Differrent to the stuff we heard live but just as pleasant. Hope to see them again soon. Chris & Gez Scott, Bury St Edmunds.

I also watched them yesterday in Reading. I nearly bought all three CDs, but managed somehow to not spend all my money. shame though. You're right, the bassist is a great guy. Got their number and hopefully they'll email me with any updates.

I was watching The Holloway Brothers in Reading today and can I say they totally rock!! I had no money so could not buy one of their records but given the chance, and that bassist is one hell of a nice guy, he rocks!

I was in Guildford yesterday with my Mum. We were in and out of shops and every time we came back out onto the high street we stopped to listen to them - they are wicked... highly talented musicians... really could have stayed all day listening!! SP Godalming

I saw The Holloway Brothers 8 years ago in Kingston & they were excellent then. When is their next gig? How can I get the Sugarbrain & Creekside CDs?

I saw them play in Guildford High Street on 30th April. They sounded great. Any ideas where I can get their latest album from? I chatted to the lead singer who said they didn't gig much, just private stuff mostly and Guildford High St!
