Timeless - like a view into the past or a distant memory. Works well for me.--Rene

I can't decide if I like the "scratches" or not. I think I don't so much on this one - it's almost too much for me. I think the composition and tones are able to stand by themselves.

Wonderful... -- I also find it moving (but also don't know why...) (V)

okay... mouth hung open. This is fantastic.. the scatched overlay (if that's what it is) makes one feel like they are looking through some scratched plastic into a diner.. this is also emotional.. but I can't place why..

I really like this also. I do think the treatment works - if I were to describe "edgy" tho, I'd say it's because the image was slightly different I am not sure that it would add as much but here it definitely works for me. The thing I really like about this (other than the superb technical characteristics of colour, dof and composition), is the full pepper pot and the half full salt pot. Could think of a million titles or meanings behind this image. "America loves salt" would be one :). I wonder if that's a giant shot of tequila in the background :). Like many of your images, this for me is where documentary meets art and there are few who do this like you. Gmv

I agree with Ai Li. Something raw and edgy but elusive. Great stuff!

I really like your recent treatment, making the shot very "raw" and "edgy". Can't find the right word to describe, simply great!
