Just where the heck is Kilgore

Here is a shot to show all my Pbase friends who know that I'm from Kilgore,Texas
but don't know where Kilgore is.The pencil lead is right on my roof.
Saturday at 4:45 pm and the wind was really kicking up.I knew the eye was going to get close to us
but not until I pulled up the radar did I realize just how close.
Have I told you how much I love my IPhone lately.
Power down,no internet, no tv! and I can do anything I need with it.
Including opening a can of beans and lighting a candle!

All kidding aside,I know we didn't have it bad compared to those down South.
Hope everybody is ok.

Glad you are OK and I hope you are capturing some of Ike's aftermath and will post it so we don't forget what folks down there are struggling through.

Yeah, we got some of it to but you guys got it worse. My sister said it wasn't too bad for her...she's in Hawkins, a little west of Kilgore.

I was worried about you; and I DID look up Kilgore on Mapquest to see how far inland you guys are. I'm glad you and yours are OK.

I was actually wondering where Kilgore was. ;) Ike came through here tonight. still packing 60mph gusts. That's crazy to me. Ike certainly wreaked havoc. I was working and it was insane. Hope you guys fared well.
