I was looking for sunrise pics this morning while all my crumbsnatchers were sleeping in.
Somehow spotted this electrician top one of our decorative drilling derricks.
Before you know it the stars on top of these derricks will be lit.
They do it Thanksgiving and Christmas , mostly.
I showed the boys and they couldn't believe their dad once worked on these.
I took many a trip to the top for repairs.
(I was an oilfield electrician for 15 years before I got my present job.
Sometimes I miss the simplicity of my old job.
