Blue Bell

I had been thinking this is a "Jack in the Pulpit," but have discovered it is a "Blue Bell."
I planted seeds for both last year and this is flourishing.

This is a pretty flower, but it is not what most people (and flower books) call Jack in the pulpit. See this photo:http://www.pbase.com/timbg/image/78339026 I would suggest that it is one of the "bell flowers."

Arisaema triphyllum is what is traditionally referred to by the common name Jack in the Pulpit. Lovely purple.
