Madison's Fallen Hero ~

Spc. Jon Menke was killed Aug. 4 in Iraq when an explosive device detonated as his vehicle passed by. His funeral was this morning at Madison High School. This flag was erected above the spot in the Veterans Memorial Graveyard where Jon was buried.

Sorry that this funeral had to take place, such a shame so many young lives have been lost or damaged physically & or emotionally. A nice shot & tribute to a young hero.
