This photograph of my grandmother Florence Anderson and her mother was contributed by my cousin Eileen - many thanks. Florence Anderson married our grandfather Clifford Johnston, 1893-1926.

Charlotte Coote was married to Benjamin Johnston Anderson, 1854-1943. There was some confusion earlier in the family about the spelling of the name: Coote or Cutt. As it turns out the Coote family which is on our Anderson side is from Ireland while the Cutt families in Prescott County were from England.
