MEWS FRAMING - Right Side - East

Pearland, Texas

Shown here with the "long" window version.

I have the door already - a bargain from a builder who needed the money more than the door - steel, insulated, primed, prehung and ready to shim and fasten in place. It pays to keep an eye on Craigslist under "Materials".

In costing out the materials I found that it would be less expensive and easier to build if the door were moved to the back corner of the mews, which I did. This makes for less material waste and less building time. A "safety entry" with 2 doors is not possible because of easement restrictions. In its place I will be using plastic curtains on both sides of the door hung on hooks for easy removal.

other sizes: small medium large original auto
