Was going up stairs and stopped with stocks on...the sock did not slide on the carpet and my toes buckled under (like a ballet dancer) and I put full weight on the toes. Had to sleep with my foot out as the covers and even the sheet hurt it. Since there was not a compound fracture did not go to the hospital...all they would have done was take a radiograph and maybe tape it...I had vet wrap at home so put a pressure bandage on.


Missed doing one dog walk the day I did this, but manage to hobble through all my jobs the next few weeks before the swelling & pain subsided. Big toe cannot bend anymore...
