Progress?

While I was downtown on course, I noticed the beautiful St. Andrew's Cathedral (built in the late 1800's), amongst the towering modern buildings.

I like your view of this Cathedral.
Shame that the green space got in the way.
Progress????

Lovely the way the cathedral is holding its own, with flag flying and turrets shining in the sun. John

Great contrast, the old and the new, our modern cathedrals.

At least the Cathedral is still there, everything always changes:(

Poor cathedral looks a bit dwarfed by all
those giants. I do enjoy the juxtaposition
of the old architecture with the shiny, glass
monstrosities. Actually, I like shiny buildings,
too! You did good with this one, Carol!

Oh, Toronto...Love this perspective and contrast of old and new. One of my favorite spot! Voted

Beautiful shot and comp. But personally prefer the old to the large cold glass or modern building.

St Andrews will always look beautiful...as for the glass monsters...a necessary evil I guess. Nice sharp shot from the Panny, Carol.
