This is a single image - it is not a composite or fabrication or digital art. The colors are not enhanced by saturation or adding color that was not there. It has had basic post processing such as curves/levels that result in increased contrast, and tend to "pop" natural colors.

Lenticular clouds are very common over high mountain peaks, although this is a unique formation I have not seen any other time.
