I think that you like Architecture, buildings...as do I, I suppose....but I wanted to hint at a sense of menace....Architecture as a form of soul-death...In truth, this is a lovely building and, further, it is important in human terms that the windows open...but it is still only a short terms residence (?)....and I must ask, like mid-century Russian Architecture, is this good for human beings?

The angle also is designed to throw one off, make one uncomfortable....

There is a small tree on the 7th floor, I thought of emphasizing this, greening it up, but that would detract from what I am trying to achieve here.

Hummmm....thinking.

Best Wishes, Traveller...but this is still, Daniel, inspired by you, but flipped to a different purpose.

Thank you, Traveller, for «considering me» (or «bearing me in mind»)...! I do not think it's up to me to judge whether you've succeeded to «emulate» my style. But just two remarks about what I most probably would have tried to avoid: 1) the grey sky (or background) and 2) those «non-vertical verticals». But I do like your image anyway, even if I do not find it «overly db.-ish» ;-))

Well, yes, but the hard formalism, the steel cold blue and added gray sky made this into something...ironic with the Title. I quite love the fact that I am taking some original images and...trying to turn them into intellectual and emotional statements of...some kind of fact.

There were a number of buildings I stopped and shot in this modern complex....I have some actual db images....but this is what I worked. If I get time, I'll post others in Exhibition.

Best Wishes, Traveller

Nailed that, IMHO, Traveller. But, maybe db would have muted the colors a bit? ;-)
