Canon Image Challenge #32: "Architectural Abstracts"

The theme of this challenge is an abstract created from architectural elements. It may be an abstract image of a grand monumental building or parts of such a building or parts of the building interacting with its environment.

Beyond the grandeur of large scale buildings, it's also welcome to think small and intimate. Perhaps a door or window in a wall, a detail from a staircase, a doornob, peeling paint or a weathered surface, the crescent moon on the outhouse door. In other words, let's use a very broad definition for "architecture". If it is building related, it is fair game.

Any level of post processing is allowed. You might even create an abstract with a composite of architectural elements from different places. The use of sculpture in an architectural setting will also be allowed. It will be fine to have non-architectural elements as long as the image contains significant architectural elements.

The Eligible Gallery is for images captured with ANY Canon camera during the Challenge period and subject to Rules outlined in the Official Challenge FAQ.

The Exhibition gallery is for images taken any time with any camera.

Enter a maximum of three pictures per person in each gallery and please remember the 200kb limit.
