In the Spring of 2008, I had the opportunity to photograph birds in Central Florida. The abundance of birds in this area is amazing. I was particularly interested in observing and photographing the rare Snail Kite, often found on Lake Tohopekaliga near Kissimmee. Also of interest were the large flocks of Roseate Spoonbills which nest on the Mangrove islands in Tampa Bay. This was a most rewarding trip.
