This photo was taken on Saturday afternoon after we returned to the Ridge from our second trip to Rose Valley. Straight ahead is Nordhoff Peak at the western end of Nordhoff Ridge. The "Top of Gridley" aid station is in the saddle to the right of Nordhoff Peak. From this aid station we first descended down Gridley Canyon (visible just in front of Nordhoff Peak), and after returning to the Gridley Top aid station we climbed Nordhoff Peak and dropped down to Cozy Dell on the back side of Nordhoff Peak (that was the longest out-and-back at 16m). After we returned to Gridley Top we dropped down 4m to the right to to the finish line.
