My Backyard

All of these pictures are from my local neighbourhood. All within walking distance. I will be adding more photos as the year progresses through the different seasons. I advertise myself as from Vancouver, but actually I live and work next door in Burnaby, half an hour by train to downtown Vancouver.

I stayed in Vancouver for a short while a few years back...and the surrounding area is just like this. A few minutes out of the city and you are hip deep in nature. It is one of the most appealing aspects of living in the Vancouver area. Also it is only a short trip to one of the best skiing areas in North America, Whistler-Blackcomb. If my wife wasn't used to deep South Texas weather, I'd try to convince her to let us retire up your way.
